Motiviation
We are an automotive supplier for acoustic materials, primarily for VW, Audi, BMW and Daimler, and as a medium-sized family-owned company. For years we have been producing our own microfibre fleece made of polypropylene. Our materials meet the test standards for car passenger compartments of BMW, Mercedes and the VW group and millions of our products are used in these vehicles. Due to the standstill of our customers, production capacities are available.
It was and is our concern to use our meltblown plant capacity in the common fight against the COVID19 virus. This requires speed and pragmatism.
On March 20, we therefore started the development of a mouth-nose protection mask and delivered the first models in the same month.
We wish you good health.
