If you want to be a global manufacturer or supplier in the automotive industry today, you have to have a high-performance portfolio. We at DFA are professionals for customised acoustic solutions for series production and much more. Our products are based on polyurethane, or PUR for short. Whether in a high-quality sound insulation system as a foam, whether as a biocompatible material for medical products or in an industrial high-performance lacquer and adhesive - polyurethane is the basis everywhere. Our technologies, such as THL technology (Tailored Heavy Layer), which produces sound insulation from PUR foam and heavy foil in a weight- and function-optimised way, speak for themselves in terms of efficiency and quality. Our most important processing methods are: Extrusion, calendering, deep-drawing, foaming, spraying, cold/hot pressing, punching, water jet cutting and HF welding. The meltblown technology for the production of microfibre absorber fleeces under the brand name Sonozorb B has been added.
In our materials laboratory, in-house formulations for customer-specific polyurethane foam applications are permanently improved and characterised. Our laboratory specialises in the further development of foams (PUR), nonwovens (BW, PP, PET, basalt, glass wool), plastics (PP, EPDM) and aluminium and their combinations. Our acoustics laboratory has all the essential measuring equipment for characterising materials, two-dimensional semi-finished products, their combinations and finished components. In addition to solutions for acoustics and insulation in the automotive industry, we also offer a variety of high-performance hot melt adhesives, our adhesives, such as our new flexibly available and high-performance 1K PUR adhesive 'PurReact'.
We are also strong as an employer and trainer, as our team of experts is constantly expanding. Among other things, we offer jobs as engineers or mechanical engineers. Project leaders and project managers are just as welcome with us as trainees in electrical engineering or process engineering. As a successful team, we always pull together.
